SUMMARY:BMWCC Visit to Coventry Transport Museum 29th May; Display Cars at Millenium Place
DESCRIPTION:  \nWe can all display our cars on Millenium Place which is a great showplace for the BMWCC . I know many of you have fine cars to proudly display and what better place than on the Millenium Place with the backdrop of the futuristic museum in the centre of Coventry the birthplace of the British Motor Industry. This is an opportunity not to be missed. \nThe Transport Museum is a gem with a fascinating collection of automobiles and bikes plus the story of the woman who solved the Spitfires problems in 1940 which occurred when diving. All great stuff. Now\, the CTM have recently introduced entry charges to the Museum but are willing to offer discounted tickets. To this I need to know members who are coming and who wish to visit the onsite Museum\, so an RSVP please\, to central@bmwccgb.co.uk….asap. \nMembers not permitted to clean Car when on site; this includes wheels.  All Cars will have drip trays or absorbent materials for oil (if any) and water leaks. To be placed under car Radiator/Engine and including rear Axle. There should be two marshals on site by 10am to assist in display parking – 5mph or less is maximum speed limit. In addition\, one member should remain in display area as a security attendant.  \nSite plan/route plan/Traffic Management.  Please see attached details. Please note arrival should be timed at; after 10.30am. This allows the Marshalls to be in place prior to 10am and the bollards to be lowered in Chauntry Place\, allows excess to Millenium Place(Display Area)  \nEvent Schedule 29th May 2022   Marshals should aim to be on site prior to 10am .  Members should aim to arrive after 10.30am                                                                                                                                                   Where :  Millennium Place\, Hales St\, Coventry CV1 1JD for Sat Nav use Post Code CV IJR   \n\nRef Map attached above\, please note how to get to the Museum option 1 details\, if you have ca olour printer the route is shaded pink. \nAgain \, please aim for number 1 route entrance. Whatever you do please avoid going underneath the Millenium Arch which is cleared marked ‘Buses only’.\n\nBest to get there by 10.30/11am
