DESCRIPTION:Sunday 24th March 10:00am will be our first run of the year.\nOur route starts at Scotch Corner Southbound at the Travelodge hotel car park. (Depart 10:00am prompt) and takes us to England’s highest pub\, The Tan Hill Inn for a brief tea and cakes stop.\nWe then have a couple of viewpoints to take in at the Buttertubs Pass and Ribblehead Viaduct before stopping for a light lunch at the Wensleydale Creamery café. Reservations can not be made for the café. The café has plenty of seating\, but it can get busy so you may wish to take a picnic. (An alternative would be the café at Aysgarth Falls) Leaving the creamery we head for home\, where you may wish to visit the magnificent Aysgarth falls on your way. SUMMARY:North East Region Breakfast Meet
DESCRIPTION:Our next monthly breakfast meeting will be on Sunday 14th January 2024December 2023. We meet from 10.00am to 11.30am at Black Horse Beamish\, Red Row\, Beamish\, Co. Durham\, DH9 0RW. Please be there for 10am prompt if you want to join us for breakfast at discounted club rates. The Black Horse Beamish is just a short distance off the A1 so is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. We usually have a good variety of Alpinas\, BMWs and Modern Minis – classics\, moderns\, daily drivers and a scattering of Ms. Non-BMWs are also OK! Look for the big group somewhere in the pub building\, or hanging around the cars down by the Car Barn on a sunny day. This meeting is open to members and non-members.

It will act as a single list of all the events that the Devon Region of the BMW Car Club GB will be organising / attending as a club along with events where we will not be attending as a club but may be of interest to members. The latter events will be noted accordingly and it will be for individual members to make the booking arrangements. Dates and details will be updated as they are confirmed by the organisers\, along with being given their own dedicated event on the Events page if needed. \nPlease note that where events are organised by third parties i.e. not the BMW Car Club GB or one of its Regions\, the information provided below is reproduced in good faith from those external sources. UPDATED 30/10/24. The focus of this evening will be to hold the Region AGM. All members are welcome and and agenda has been published. Individual entry but no entry fee! \nDECEMBER \nNo pub meet this month but our annual Festive Meal\, at the Passage House Inn\, Kingsteignton on Thursday 12th December 18:45 for 19:30. \nBlack Tie is optional\, but encouraged. DESCRIPTION:In a break with tradition the next Basingstoke Area pub meet on December 19th will incorporate a Christmas dinner for those who want to eat.  As always\, if you just want a drink and a natter then please feel to join us.  The evening starts at 6.30pm with dinner commencing at 7.00pm. \nWhilst you can settle your bills on the night\, a deposit of £10 per head is required.  Please confirm your attendance\, preferably by email\, with Tim Maltby and choice of food by close of play on Friday 8th December.  Deposits payable to Tim timsharknose@outlook.com or 07885 252448.  Tasty choices abound – see menu below – but big decision required…Two or Three courses!

Here’s to a good evening! \nUPDATE 27/10/23 – A reminder for those who have not done so far\, you need to have paid your deposit and selected your menu choices by 31st October as they need to be given to the venue very shortly. \nUPDATE 13/10/23 – Graham has arranged for post-meal coffee and mince pies to be included in the price! \nUPDATE 17/8/23 – £5.00 per head deposit to be paid to Graham before/at the pub meet on 26th October as this needs to be paid to the venue in mid-November. \nGraham has again kindly taken on the task of arranging this year’s meal. As they looked after us so well last year\, the meal will be at the Passage House Inn\, Hackney Lane\, Newton Abbot. TQ12 3QH. 19:00 for 19:30. \nBlack Tie/ Evening Dress optional but encouraged. \nMenus have been distributed to members.
