If you haven’t come along to any of our events so far\, please have a look at the 2026 calendar below\, get in contact and we look forward to welcoming you!\nThis is the events diary for the 2026 season\, BUT THIS IS NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF WESTCOUNTRY EVENTS. It will act as a single list of all the events that the Devon Region of the BMW Car Club GB will be organising / attending as a club along with events where we will not be attending as a club but may be of interest to members. Dates and details will be updated as they are confirmed by the organisers with their dates and event titles made bold. Please note that where events are organised by third parties i.e. not the BMW Car Club GB or one of its Regions\, the information provided below is reproduced in good faith from those external sources. Where we are not attending as a club\, it is up to those interested in attending to confirm that the event(s) are going ahead as shown. DESCRIPTION:We are attending Sports Cars In The Park again this year on Sunday 03 May. The show will be held at Newby Hall and is one of the largest meets in the area attracting a fabulous range of about 1500 exotic sports cars to admire\, with well over 100 BMWs. There is also the option to visit Newby Hall itself\, 25 acres of award winning\, an enchanting woodland walk and a miniature railway. Younger visitors will also enjoy the exciting adventure gardens. There will also be a number of related stalls and catering on the day. Display cars can arrive from 7:00 until 12:00. Tickets for driver and displaying car are purchased from the SCITP website\, with each additional occupant costing extra with a discount for children. Display tickets are only sold in advance. DESCRIPTION:For 2026 Autofahrt will return to  Holland and Bimmerfest. This exclusive 5 day tour from  05-09 June 2026 is open to all club members and all club cars. The tour is escorted by club members Chris Tranter and Nick Thomas\, and is again managed by Scenic Car Tours. Chris lives in Luxemburg\, and Nick lived in Germany and the Netherlands for 10 years\, so both are happy to help and advice members who are not used to European driving. This will be the fifth escorted club tour following Autofahrt Munich\, Autofahrt Holland\, Autofahrt Germany and Autofahrt Manx. The tour is designed without long drives to keep fuel costs reasonable – most cars will complete the tour on one or two tanks of fuel.\nDay 1 – Friday 05 June 2026 \nThe tour starts for most on the Friday evening. The standard tour crossing is from Harwich\, arriving in Hook of Holland the next morning after taking an overnight (23:00-08:00) Stena Line crossing from Harwich to Hook of Holland. Relax\, enjoy a drink and evening meal (not included in tour cost) and get a good night’s sleep in your inside cabin with lower beds on the ferry. \nOther crossings via Hull/Rotterdam\, Newcastle/Amsterdam or English Channel crossings can also be arranged. \n \nDay 2 – Saturday 06 June \nBreakfast on ferry (not included in tour cost) \nApprox 1 hour drive from Hook of Holland to Buren (approx. 3:30hrs from channel tunnel). We meet at the Visscher Classique Museum\, Schuilheuvelstraat 1\, 4116 GA\, Buren at 12:30 for a light lunch and the tour Meet and Greet and first briefing. Museum entry and lunch is included in the tour price. \n \nThe Visscher Classique Museum is the unique old and youngtimer experience – that’s what Visscher Classique is all about. Discover the place and development of the car in world history since the end of the 19th century and see that in the museum’s collection. The museum has its origins in Henk Visscher’s passion for old and young-timers. At the age of forty\, he began to see the beauty of it and started to collect it. It started just before the turn of the century with the purchase of a Peugeot 404 from 1964. In the nearly 30 years since\, his collection grew to more than 100 cars that comprise about 100 years of car history. The hotel will supply us a takeaway cold breakfast box/takeaway hot drinks from 6:00am (included in tour cost). \nAt 6:45am we will have the second tour briefing\, followed by departure at approximately 7am for the 45 minute drive to Bimmerfest at Raceway Venray (Peelweg 47\, 5813 AD Ysselsteyn). \nThe BMW Car Club GB will have a club stand at Bimmerfest\, and tickets and paddock cards are included in the tour cost. Bimmerfest is one of the biggest BMW shows globally attracting well over 2000 cars from all over Europe. Today SS Rotterdam is permanently moored in Rotterdam Harbour\, it’s easy to reach and there is plenty of parking available. DESCRIPTION:Join the Eastern Region for a monthly evening get together at The British Oak\, Mosborough\, Sheffield S20 5AY from 6.30pm to 10pm. \nThe evening meet happens on the second Thursday of every month. \nThe British Oak has a wide range of drinks on offer along with a menu full of Great British Classics. \nWe have our own reserved area within the pub but on those warm evenings you can find us outside in the large and inviting beer garden. \nThe British Oak has two sizeable car parks available and we try to park in the larger car park at the rear of the pub. \nCome along and join us for some friendly conversation and some obligatory tyre kicking (weather permitting). Don’t be shy\, come and say Hi !!! \n

DESCRIPTION:The breakfast meets run from 10am to 1pm. Parking at Great Northern Classics is free for club members attending club events\, otherwise\, parking is charged at £1.50 per hour. \nNot only is Great Northern Classics the head office of the BMW Car Club GB\, but is also home to a regular monthly breakfast meet\, hosted by the Eastern Region. \nCafe Miura is available for drinks\, breakfast baps\, meals\, and pastries. \nExpect good company and great cars. If you arrive early\, you may have the chance to park in the prestigious parking spot in front of the doors. \nFrom time to time\, there may be other BMW Car Club GB events hosted on the same day\, so check out the events pages to see what is happening. \n

SUMMARY:BMW Show\, Santa Pod 2026
DESCRIPTION:The BMW Car Club GB will be attending the BMW Show at Santa Pod Raceway\, Airfield Road\, Poddington NN29 7XA on Sunday 21st June 2026. All BMWs are welcome including race cars\, show cars\, modern\, retros\, classics\, modern MINIs\, Alpina’s and BMW bikes. \nSimilar to last years show the club stand will be run by Central West Region along with attendance from the BMW Car Club GB.  We have 60 reserved spaces which this year members can book directly online by visiting the Santa Pod website. Discounted Club Driver Display Tickets for Club members are activated using the code accessed by clicking here \nA number of Club members will be camping on the night before\, and members are welcome to join them if they wish. \nNOTE: You should only buy a CLUB DRIVER TICKET if you are displaying a car. SUMMARY:Wallop Wheels and Wings
DESCRIPTION:We will be attending Wallop Wings and Wheels on Saturday 11 July.  Although this is a long way off\, this show gets booked up very early – we attempted to get a stand here in 2025 but we left it too late and it was fully booked.  I have been in touch with the organisers and the 2026 show is already booking well but places are still available now.  To book a place for your car please follow the link https://pci.jotform.com/form/253002120287039 .  The attendance is limited to 400 cars so I cannot say for how long places will be available.  When you go to the booking site\, please state that you will be attending as a member of the BMW Car Club.  You will be asked to upload a photo of your car.  The cost for exhibitors is £15 per vehicle including entry to the event for the driver and 2 passengers. \nPlease email me to confirm your booking so that I can keep a record of BMW CC cars attending.
