DESCRIPTION:Our popular monthly breakfast meets continues for the summer at Sherburn Aero Club. We can’t park on the apron now but we have even more space on the grass next to the apron. Look out for the direction signs when you arrive. Drive through the car park in front of the building and down the little road to the grass area. The Sherburn breakfast meets will continue up to and including the September 2026 meet. For the October 2026 to April 2027 meets\, we will be at The Motorist. Easy to remember\, the first Saturday of every month. \nOur breakfast meets are open to all BMW\, Alpina\, and modern MINI owners and enthusiasts\, club members or not. We are an inclusive group looking to enhance the enjoyment for all owners and enthusiasts. If you want to support our activities and get more involved\, as well as receive a glossy monthly magazine and lots of other perks\, do think about joining the BMW Car Club GB\, the ONLY official BMW owners club in the UK recognised and supported by BMW.

DESCRIPTION:We are attending Sports Cars In The Park again this year on Sunday 03 May. The show will be held at Newby Hall and is one of the largest meets in the area attracting a fabulous range of about 1500 exotic sports cars to admire\, with well over 100 BMWs. There is also the option to visit Newby Hall itself\, 25 acres of award winning\, an enchanting woodland walk and a miniature railway. Younger visitors will also enjoy the exciting adventure gardens. There will also be a number of related stalls and catering on the day. Display cars can arrive from 7:00 until 12:00. Tickets for driver and displaying car are purchased from the SCITP website\, with each additional occupant costing extra with a discount for children. Display tickets are only sold in advance. To get your tickets go to www.sportscarsinthepark.co.uk\, login and then click on ‘Tickets’. Remember to select ‘BMW Car Club GB’ as part of the process\, or you may end up parked amongst Audis and Volkswagens. The club stand is open to members and non-members\, and to all BMWs\, Modern Minis and Alpinas.

SUMMARY:Autofahrt Netherlands 2026
DESCRIPTION:For 2026 Autofahrt will return to  Holland and Bimmerfest. This exclusive 5 day tour from  05-09 June 2026 is open to all club members and all club cars. The tour is escorted by club members Chris Tranter and Nick Thomas\, and is again managed by Scenic Car Tours. Chris lives in Luxemburg\, and Nick lived in Germany and the Netherlands for 10 years\, so both are happy to help and advice members who are not used to European driving. This will be the fifth escorted club tour following Autofahrt Munich\, Autofahrt Holland\, Autofahrt Germany and Autofahrt Manx. The tour is designed without long drives to keep fuel costs reasonable – most cars will complete the tour on one or two tanks of fuel.\nDay 1 – Friday 05 June 2026 \nThe tour starts for most on the Friday evening. The standard tour crossing is from Harwich\, arriving in Hook of Holland the next morning after taking an overnight (23:00-08:00) Stena Line crossing from Harwich to Hook of Holland. Relax\, enjoy a drink and evening meal (not included in tour cost) and get a good night’s sleep in your inside cabin with lower beds on the ferry. \nOther crossings via Hull/Rotterdam\, Newcastle/Amsterdam or English Channel crossings can also be arranged. \n \nDay 2 – Saturday 06 June \nBreakfast on ferry (not included in tour cost) \nApprox 1 hour drive from Hook of Holland to Buren (approx. 3:30hrs from channel tunnel). We meet at the Visscher Classique Museum\, Schuilheuvelstraat 1\, 4116 GA\, Buren at 12:30 for a light lunch and the tour Meet and Greet and first briefing. Museum entry and lunch is included in the tour price. \n \nThe Visscher Classique Museum is the unique old and youngtimer experience – that’s what Visscher Classique is all about. Discover the place and development of the car in world history since the end of the 19th century and see that in the museum’s collection. The museum has its origins in Henk Visscher’s passion for old and young-timers. At the age of forty\, he began to see the beauty of it and started to collect it. It started just before the turn of the century with the purchase of a Peugeot 404 from 1964. In the nearly 30 years since\, his collection grew to more than 100 cars that comprise about 100 years of car history. Please free to explore the museum at your own pace. \nAfter exploring the museum drive (approx. 1.5 hours) to Venlo and the tour hotel for the next two nights – Hotel de Bovenste Molen\, Bovenste Molenweg 12\, 5912 TV\, Venlo \n \nIn the middle of greenery on the outskirts of Venlo\, is Bilderberg Hotel De Bovenste Molen. Surrounded by 44 hectares of forest with winding paths\, lakes and streams\, this is the place for rest and relaxation. The pond terrace offers an idyllic place to relax. Relax in the heated swimming pool\, sauna or taste the flavours of Burgundian Limburg in Restaurant WOODZ combined with a wide range of specialty beers. \nIn the evening we will head into Venlo for evening meal (not included in tour cost). We can either drive and park in the centre or take a taxi. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venlo \n \nDay 3 – Sunday 07 June \nWe need to leave the hotel early as we want to arrive at Bimmerfest “largest one day BMW event in Europe” at approximately 8am to beat the queues. The hotel will supply us a takeaway cold breakfast box/takeaway hot drinks from 6:00am (included in tour cost). \nAt 6:45am we will have the second tour briefing\, followed by departure at approximately 7am for the 45 minute drive to Bimmerfest at Raceway Venray (Peelweg 47\, 5813 AD Ysselsteyn). \nThe BMW Car Club GB will have a club stand at Bimmerfest\, and tickets and paddock cards are included in the tour cost. Bimmerfest is one of the biggest BMW shows globally attracting well over 2000 cars from all over Europe. There is always a great selection of cars\, club stands and is supported by many big names in the BMW community\, with live action\, displays\, trade stands and there is lots to see and do and has an excellent vibe. https://www.bimmerfest.eu/en/homepage/ \n \nAfter the show we will return to Hotel for an evening meal at Hotel (3 courses with 3 options per course\, included in tour cost). \n \nDay 4 – Monday 08 June \nToday starts with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel (included in tour cost) and the third tour briefing. \nWe set off for the 2 hour drive to Rotterdam Harbour and our destination – the ocean liner SS Rotterdam. https://ssrotterdam.com/ \n \nOn 13 September\, 1958\, with a clearly spoken “I name you the Rotterdam and wish you a safe journey” Queen Juliana christened the new pride of the Dutch merchant fleet and sent the ship down the ways at the Rotterdam Drydock Company under the eyes of an enormous audience.  As the former flagship of the Holland-America Line\, the SS Rotterdam has sailed the seven seas. Today SS Rotterdam is permanently moored in Rotterdam Harbour\, it’s easy to reach and there is plenty of parking available. Discover La Grande Dame’s many stories and visit its authentic areas while we eat\, drink\, sleep\, and explore. \nAfter our arrival on board\, we will have a private SS Rotterdam Complete Tour lasting 2.5 hours with an English speaking guide\, taking in the upper decks\, the bow and bridge\, along with the old indoor pool\, the sports decks\, the boilers and turbines. \n \nAfter a set menu dinner on board\, we will have a good night’s rest in the ships historic cabins\, themed either as Original\, Manhattan or Bahamas. These styles are based on the various (exotic) destinations that SS Rotterdam enjoyed in her years as a luxury cruise ship. \nDay 5 – Tuesday 08 June \nToday is a relaxed departure day. After breakfast on board\, the standard return crossing is the 1415-1945 Stena line day crossing from Hook to Harwich. \nOther crossings via Rotterdam/Hull\, Amsterdam/Newcastle (1.5 hrs from SS Rotterdam) or English Channel crossings (4 hrs from SS Rotterdam) can also be arranged. \n \nParticipants \nParticipants are limited to a maximum of 10 cars belonging to BMW Car Club GB members. \nPricing \n£1199 per person sharing a car\, cabin and a twin or double room throughout (£2398 total). \n£1798 per person in a their own double room for single use\, cabin\, and own car throughout. \nFerry Options: \n\nThose wishing to travel out on 05 June and inbound on 09 June overnight with P&O ferries from Hull to Rotterdam will be charged an additional £300 per car.\nThose wishing to travel out on 05 June and inbound on 09 June overnight with DFDS ferries from Newcastle to Amsterdam should book their own ferry\, and will receive a £500 per car discount for not requiring the standard Stena Line sailing.\nThose wanting cross-channel crossings from Dover or Folkestone to Calais can do so on a request basis and will be quoted at the time of booking.\nThose not requiring a crossing or wanting to arrange their own crossing can benefit from a £500.00 per car discount for arranging their own sailings / not taking the included sailings. DESCRIPTION:We will be attending Wallop Wings and Wheels on Saturday 11 July.  Although this is a long way off\, this show gets booked up very early – we attempted to get a stand here in 2025 but we left it too late and it was fully booked.  I have been in touch with the organisers and the 2026 show is already booking well but places are still available now.  To book a place for your car please follow the link https://pci.jotform.com/form/253002120287039 .  The attendance is limited to 400 cars so I cannot say for how long places will be available.  When you go to the booking site\, please state that you will be attending as a member of the BMW Car Club.  You will be asked to upload a photo of your car.  The cost for exhibitors is £15 per vehicle including entry to the event for the driver and 2 passengers. \nPlease email me to confirm your booking so that I can keep a record of BMW CC cars attending.

DESCRIPTION:BMW LIVE 2026 Oulton Park\, Saturday\, 25th July 2026 \nBMW Live is back for 2026 and we can’t wait to see you all again. \nBMW Live has BMW Car Club GB displays from different regions\, registers and communities\, along with many other BMW and MINI clubs from around the country\, all vying for the coveted BMW Live Awards. In addition\, there will be general BMW and MINI display parking areas for those who are not members of any club or group who wish to display their car on the day. We are frequently asked ahead of BMW Live by many owners\, whether their car is suitable enough to display\, or whether they must be a member a club to attend. This show has been created as a place for everyone to share their passion of the brand\, whether you are a member of a club or not. We welcome every single BMW\, Modern MINI and Alpina at this show ! \nIn addition to the many car displays\, there will be on-track racing with BMW Car Club Racing and 750 Motor Club throughout the day\, with the ever-popular Grid Walk\, where you can get up close and personal with the BMW Car Club Racing cars and drivers. If adrenaline is your thing\, how about having a go in a Drift Taxi from PH Drift. For an exciting end to the day\, there are limited places on the Oulton Park BMW Live Parade Lap. We are also celebrating 25 years of the modern MINI\, with a display near the Fogarty Moss Centre. \nThe Fogarty Moss Centre will be our hub for the day – here you will find your raffle tickets\, free SIM racing\, free Scalextric racing\, free face painting\, and . Check out the BMW Lounge upstairs in Fogarty Moss\, with special themed BMW drinks available to purchase and consume and relax in the hospitality suite whilst you look out over the track – a great place for watching the racing. Please make sure you stick around for the raffle draw\, as we will have some fantastic prizes up for grabs. \nThe Trader Village will once again be hosting all manner of companies selling you anything from wheels to exhausts\, engine performance enhancements to performance body kits\, and much more. \nFor the little car fans\, there is the kid’s playground and fair ground\, along with face painting and Scalextric in the Fogarty Moss building. \nOulton Park provide ample choices for food and beverage options\, from the food area by the large TV screen showing the live racing to Chequers Café and bar\, and of course ice creams on a hot sunny day ! \nFree camping is included with your entry ticket for Friday and Saturday night\, just tick the option when booking. This is a great way for your friends\, family and clubs to get together the night before the event and after the event. Food and drink options will be available. \nFriday night there will be a track walk\, giving you the opportunity to walk all around the famous Oulton Park track. You don’t have to make engine noises as you go\, but it is encouraged. DESCRIPTION:Join the Eastern Region for a monthly evening get together at The British Oak\, Mosborough\, Sheffield S20 5AY from 6.30pm to 10pm. \nThe evening meet happens on the second Thursday of every month. \nThe British Oak has a wide range of drinks on offer along with a menu full of Great British Classics. \nWe have our own reserved area within the pub but on those warm evenings you can find us outside in the large and inviting beer garden. \nThe British Oak has two sizeable car parks available and we try to park in the larger car park at the rear of the pub. \nCome along and join us for some friendly conversation and some obligatory tyre kicking (weather permitting). Don’t be shy\, come and say Hi !!! \n

DESCRIPTION:The breakfast meets run from 10am to 1pm. Parking at Great Northern Classics is free for club members attending club events\, otherwise\, parking is charged at £1.50 per hour. \nNot only is Great Northern Classics the head office of the BMW Car Club GB\, but is also home to a regular monthly breakfast meet\, hosted by the Eastern Region. \nCafe Miura is available for drinks\, breakfast baps\, meals\, and pastries. \nExpect good company and great cars. If you arrive early\, you may have the chance to park in the prestigious parking spot in front of the doors. \nFrom time to time\, there may be other BMW Car Club GB events hosted on the same day\, so check out the events pages to see what is happening. \n
