DESCRIPTION:Further to our AGM at the beginning of March I can confirm that we have filled our initial tranche with 25 cars pledged. We may be able to get some more spaces\, so please let me know as soon as you can if you would like to put your car on our Club Stand. As in previous years we will be situated in the grounds of Sherborne Castle in Dorset\, amongst a host of car clubs and several hundred car enthusiasts.Ticket prices have been held at last years. \nTickets are £15 and covers each car: show entry for maximum of 2 adult occupants per car\, free show guide and exhibitor car pass. DESCRIPTION:Another car show in Exmouth\, this time the one we attended last year\, to be held at the Recreation Ground on Sunday 11th August. Although we will be attending we may be splitting ourselves between this and the North Devon Festival of Transport. The following is from the email they sent me: \nI thought I would email you to let you know that the annual Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show will be returning on Sunday 11th August 2024 following a successful last year which saw in excess of 250 vehicles on display and £2\,330 raised for Devon Air Ambulance through voluntary donations.Organised by the Morris Minor Owners Club Devon Branch and the Ford Anglia 105E Owners Club\, this annual event will take place from 10am until 4PM. As in previous years\, there is no entry fee to pay and no need to book in – although it will be helpful if the organisers can know in advance if you would like a pitch reserved for a car club display. The event will also be looking to collect for local charity in the official collecting buckets and they also hope to have in excess of 200 vehicles on display.

SUMMARY:Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle - UPDATED 1/7/24
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE 1/7/24 – THE VEHICLE PASSES AND WRISTBANDS HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED TO THOSE ATTENDING. \nOur local big event of the year returns on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of July in the stunning setting of the grounds of Powderham Castle. Let us hope that the weather is kinder than in 2023. \nWe will be attending as a club and I have requested the same pitch and capacity as last year. The tickets are £17 which covers 1 car\, 1 driver and 1 passenger for either or both days. Camping for the Friday and Saturday night is £40 including entrance. \nIt will be open to the public from 10:00-17:00 so we will need to be there around 09:00 to set up the car display etc. We will try to theme our display\, so please abide the request of whoever is marshalling the display. \nWe expect to be hosting our neighbouring Cornwall and Western Regions. \nHelp in setting up the marquee on Friday the 12th will be welcomed. The conditions of entry are shown below. \n \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Another show for your diaries!  It is over the late Summer Bank Holiday weekend\, it is recognised that members may have other commitments so we will not be attending as a club but the information below is from their event website to enable individual members to book attendance if they so wish: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAUGUST 27\, 202311:00-15:00\n\n\nWHERE / \n\n\nAVETON GIFFORD\n\n\nABOUT THE EVENT / \n\n\nWe are busy planning 2023’s show\, and are pleased to announce exhibitor registration is now open! Last year’s show was a hit and a fantastic relaunch of this great event after the hiatus.As in previous years we anticipate around 150 classic cars\, motorcycles\, tractors and more to view and admire. There will be a prime selection of food stalls and vendors. All set in the idyllic village of Aveton Gifford.
