DESCRIPTION:This is an events diary for the 2024 season. It will act as a single list of all the events that the Devon Region of the BMW Car Club GB will be organising / attending as a club along with events where we will not be attending as a club but may be of interest to members. The latter events will be noted accordingly and it will be for individual members to make the booking arrangements. Dates and details will be updated as they are confirmed by the organisers\, along with being given their own dedicated event on the Events page if needed. \nPlease note that where events are organised by third parties i.e. not the BMW Car Club GB or one of its Regions\, the information provided below is reproduced in good faith from those external sources. Where we are not attending as a club\, it is up to those interested in attending to confirm that the event(s) are going ahead as shown. \nIf there are other shows/events that may be of interest to members\, please email me the details at devon@bmwcarclubgb.co.uk \nNOVEMBER \n28th (Thursday) Pub meet and AGM. 19:00 for 19:30 at the Swans Nest\, Station Road\, Exminster\, EX6 8DZ. UPDATED 30/10/24. The focus of this evening will be to hold the Region AGM. All members are welcome and and agenda has been published. Please note that should there be any matters that require a vote\, only paid-up members will be eligible to do so. \n30th (Saturday) BMW Day. Re:Fuel\, Five Bridges\, Willand\, Cullompton. EX15 1QP. 09:00-13:00. ADDED 22/11/24. Individual entry but no entry fee! \nDECEMBER \nNo pub meet this month but our annual Festive Meal\, at the Passage House Inn\, Kingsteignton on Thursday 12th December 18:45 for 19:30. \nBlack Tie is optional\, but encouraged. Graham is taking deposits and menu choices\, so please let him know as soon as possible. \n2025 – Look out for the 2025 Events Calendar – very much a work in progress for the New Year.

SUMMARY:Exmouth Classic Car Show
DESCRIPTION:Another car show in Exmouth\, this time the one we attended last year\, to be held at the Recreation Ground on Sunday 11th August. Although we will be attending we may be splitting ourselves between this and the North Devon Festival of Transport. The following is from the email they sent me: \nI thought I would email you to let you know that the annual Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show will be returning on Sunday 11th August 2024 following a successful last year which saw in excess of 250 vehicles on display and £2\,330 raised for Devon Air Ambulance through voluntary donations.Organised by the Morris Minor Owners Club Devon Branch and the Ford Anglia 105E Owners Club\, this annual event will take place from 10am until 4PM. As in previous years\, there is no entry fee to pay and no need to book in – although it will be helpful if the organisers can know in advance if you would like a pitch reserved for a car club display. The event will also be looking to collect for local charity in the official collecting buckets and they also hope to have in excess of 200 vehicles on display.

DESCRIPTION:  \nUPDATE 27/7/24 – PLEASE NOTE THAT BOOKINGS ARE NOW CLOSED. \nAn event that we have not attended as a club before but it gives the opportunity for a decent drive with a show at the end of it. It will also be a good opportunity to meet up with club members from mid and North Devon. \nThe event is to be held on Sunday 11th August at Victoria Park\, 39 Kingsley Road\, Bideford. EX39 2QQ. Organised by Bideford Bridge Rotary Club.  \nWe will be exhibiting as a club\, but tickets need to be booked on an individual basis – see the booking form at the bottom of this page. The cost is £5 per vehicle which includes a driver and passenger. Additional passengers at £5 each. SUMMARY:North East Region Breakfast Meet
DESCRIPTION:Our next monthly breakfast meeting will be on Sunday 11th August 2024. We meet from 10.00am to 11.30am at Black Horse Beamish\, Red Row\, Beamish\, Co. Durham\, DH9 0RW. Please be there for 10am prompt if you want to join us for breakfast at discounted club rates. The Black Horse Beamish is just a short distance off the A1 so is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. We usually have a good variety of Alpinas\, BMWs and Modern Minis – classics\, moderns\, daily drivers and a scattering of Ms. Non-BMWs are also OK! Look for the big group somewhere in the pub building\, or hanging around the cars down by the Car Barn on a sunny day. This meeting is open to members and non-members.
