There will also be a number of related stalls and catering on the day. Display cars can arrive from 7:00 until 12:00. Tickets for driver and displaying car are purchased from the SCITP website\, with each additional occupant costing extra with a discount for children. Display tickets are only sold in advance. To get your tickets go to www.sportscarsinthepark.co.uk\, login and then click on ‘Tickets’. Remember to select ‘BMW Car Club GB’ as part of the process\, or you may end up parked amongst Audis and Volkswagens. SUMMARY:Hops to Horsepower - Lakeland Motor Museum
DESCRIPTION:A double whammy of an Event !\nThe owners of the Barrel House Brewery in Kendal have kindly offered us a tour of their Brewery\, so we will travel to the Brewery for a guided tour and complimentary light refreshments before heading out to the Lakeland Motor Museum expecting to arrive there about 12:00 noon to 1pm for the museum visit which takes about 2 hrs\nNormal entry fees apply for the Museum but we are hoping to have segregated parking for the group on the site if possible\nWe will meet at Scotch Corner Services by the Travel Lodge at 9:00am where you can grab a quick coffee or breakfast before departure at 9:30 for Kendal (about an hour’s drive) and the Brewery. There is no cost for the Brewery Tour or food however we would ask that members make a suitable donation to their supported local charity which is BloodBikes !\nPlaces are limited to 20 cars so please let us know if you are coming by indicating this on the event on the North East Region Facebook page.

DESCRIPTION:BMW Live is a new regional event for 2024 which is taking place at Oulton Park Circuit on Saturday\, 1st June 2024. \nBMW Live will have Region display parking for North East\, Eastern\, Central West\, North West\, Cheshire & Staffs\, Central\, Scottish\, Cumbria\, Mid-Wales & Shropshire and North Wales Regions\, along with many other BMW\, Alpina and modern MINI car groups\, plus a general BMW\, Alpina and modern MINI display parking area. \nBMW Car Club racing will be taking place on the day\, as well as other 750 Motorsport racing\, and there will be a grid walk and a parade lap you can sign up to on the day. There will be a trader village\, kids fun fair and various food and beverage options available. Free camping is available for Friday and Saturday night. \nWe are also holding a pre-event circuit meet on the Friday night in the on-site Chequers café / bar. DESCRIPTION:We are heading over to Cumbria for another run organised by John Rawsthorne on 24th April. Meet at the Lakeland Motor Museum\, Ulverston\, LA12 8TA in the car park opposite the museum (on the left if you are coming from the M6) at 10.30am for a 11.00am departure. \nFrom there we will be heading via Ulpha to Holmrook for a pub lunch. \nAfter we have eaten we will head over the Hard Knott and Wrynose Passes into the Little Langdale Valley where the run ends for a quiet drink of whatever you like before we split up. Total driving time about 2 ½ hours\, 60 miles.

SUMMARY:Cancelled - Southern Concours
DESCRIPTION:It is with much regret that unfortunately we will be cancelling this event as once again we are struck with COVID restrictions. \nAfter much deliberation we feel that the uncertainty of whether restrictions will be lifted does not allow us enough time to prepare for this event. We also do not wish to committ to any further costs for an event that may or may not happen or have poor attendance due to travel restrictions. It is very difficult and challenging for our committee to get involved with the organisational elements required to hold these events with the current lockdown restrictions in place. We take extreme pride in the events we organise and without the great team of volunteers who give up their time very generously they would not be able to go ahead.
