DESCRIPTION:The 8 Series register \nI have booked an E31 club place at the Rotary Cars in the Park event in Beacon Park\, Lichfield\, Staffordshire\, WS13 6RA for Saturday 11th September 2021.  Rotary Cars in the Park is organised by the Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad in association with Lichfield Round Table and attracts up to 2\,000 cars and in excess of 20\,000 visitors. The money raised from the event is distributed between local\, national and international good causes. \nI have booked spaces for 20 cars and places are filling up fast\, please let me know if you would like to join us by email at 8series@bmwcarclubgb.co.uk  it is only £5 per car. DESCRIPTION:Sunday 22nd August 2021 – The Chequers Inn\, Weston on the Green\, Bicester\, OX25 3QH.  This is our first meeting back at our usual pub near Oxford since Christmas 2019\, The pub now has new Landlords and they are happy for us to meet there again as long as a few of us book for lunch. We will be there in the car park from 9.00am to welcome all 8 Series owners to display and chat\,  then onto to lunch. We have booked tables for lunch for 12-12.30\, please email me if you want lunch spaces reserved.

DESCRIPTION:Tim and Joe\, the owners of the above who are also club members have agreed for us to hold a meet and visit to their premises at Chacewater near Truro.\nJoe also competes in the BMW Car Club Championship racing series.\nThey both have a passion for BMWs old and new.\nThey specialize in classic and modern BMWs and offer servicing\, software updates\, coding as well as bodywork\, restoration and upgrades.\nWe will be able to look around their workshops\, see the services they provide\, look at some of the work they do and take a look at the cars and race-cars they prepare \nplease let me know if you wish to attend. SUMMARY:North East Region Virtual Monthly Breakfast Meet
DESCRIPTION:As we are still in lockdown we will again have a virtual monthly breakfast meeting on Sunday 14th February at 10:00-11:00am. As we will not have access to the Black Horse’s choice of refreshments please bring your own breakfast. I also encourage you to take part from your BMW on your drive or garage if you can. \nWe will be running Car Of The Month again. This month the theme is Roadtrip – share a photo of your BMW on a roadtrip. Mike of The Polishing Company will choose the car based on pictures you share during the meeting (or send me pictures in advance of you prefer). Don’t be disappointed though if your prize is just a photo of a Goodie Bag ! We will also have a video tour of a unique BMW in the region\, and a quiz. \nTo avoid Zoombombers the link will be sent out to North East members of the BMW Car Club GB via an email from the club office a few days before the meeting.
