DESCRIPTION:Greetings to all our current and future members. If you haven’t come along to any of our events so far\, please have a look at the 2026 calendar below\, get in contact and we look forward to welcoming you!\nThis is the events diary for the 2026 season\, BUT THIS IS NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF WESTCOUNTRY EVENTS. It will act as a single list of all the events that the Devon Region of the BMW Car Club GB will be organising / attending as a club along with events where we will not be attending as a club but may be of interest to members. Dates and details will be updated as they are confirmed by the organisers with their dates and event titles made bold. Please note that where events are organised by third parties i.e. not the BMW Car Club GB or one of its Regions\, the information provided below is reproduced in good faith from those external sources. Where we are not attending as a club\, it is up to those interested in attending to confirm that the event(s) are going ahead as shown. TBC. \nJULY \n11th & 12th (Saturday-Sunday) – Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle – Pride of Ownership trophy – As last year we intend to award a ‘Pride of Ownership’ trophy to the owner of the car that receives the most votes from members. Voting will take place over the whole weekend so as to include those who can only attend on one day. If you wish to enter\, please complete the entry sheet in the gazebo and take one of the numbered cards to put in your windscreen. That way\, the voters know which cars are entered. Good luck! We are attending as a club\, with support from our Cornish friends on the Saturday. DESCRIPTION:Our popular monthly breakfast meets continues for the summer at Sherburn Aero Club. We can’t park on the apron now but we have even more space on the grass next to the apron. Look out for the direction signs when you arrive. Drive through the car park in front of the building and down the little road to the grass area. The Sherburn breakfast meets will continue up to and including the September 2026 meet. For the October 2026 to April 2027 meets\, we will be at The Motorist. Easy to remember\, the first Saturday of every month. \nOur breakfast meets are open to all BMW\, Alpina\, and modern MINI owners and enthusiasts\, club members or not. We are an inclusive group looking to enhance the enjoyment for all owners and enthusiasts. If you want to support our activities and get more involved\, as well as receive a glossy monthly magazine and lots of other perks\, do think about joining the BMW Car Club GB\, the ONLY official BMW owners club in the UK recognised and supported by BMW.

DESCRIPTION:BMW LIVE 2026 Oulton Park\, Saturday\, 25th July 2026 \nBMW Live is back for 2026 and we can’t wait to see you all again. \nBMW Live has BMW Car Club GB displays from different regions\, registers and communities\, along with many other BMW and MINI clubs from around the country\, all vying for the coveted BMW Live Awards. In addition\, there will be general BMW and MINI display parking areas for those who are not members of any club or group who wish to display their car on the day. We are frequently asked ahead of BMW Live by many owners\, whether their car is suitable enough to display\, or whether they must be a member a club to attend. This show has been created as a place for everyone to share their passion of the brand\, whether you are a member of a club or not. We welcome every single BMW\, Modern MINI and Alpina at this show ! \nIn addition to the many car displays\, there will be on-track racing with BMW Car Club Racing and 750 Motor Club throughout the day\, with the ever-popular Grid Walk\, where you can get up close and personal with the BMW Car Club Racing cars and drivers. If adrenaline is your thing\, how about having a go in a Drift Taxi from PH Drift. For an exciting end to the day\, there are limited places on the Oulton Park BMW Live Parade Lap. We are also celebrating 25 years of the modern MINI\, with a display near the Fogarty Moss Centre. \nThe Fogarty Moss Centre will be our hub for the day – here you will find your raffle tickets\, free SIM racing\, free Scalextric racing\, free face painting\, and . Check out the BMW Lounge upstairs in Fogarty Moss\, with special themed BMW drinks available to purchase and consume and relax in the hospitality suite whilst you look out over the track – a great place for watching the racing. Please make sure you stick around for the raffle draw\, as we will have some fantastic prizes up for grabs. \nThe Trader Village will once again be hosting all manner of companies selling you anything from wheels to exhausts\, engine performance enhancements to performance body kits\, and much more. \nFor the little car fans\, there is the kid’s playground and fair ground\, along with face painting and Scalextric in the Fogarty Moss building. \nOulton Park provide ample choices for food and beverage options\, from the food area by the large TV screen showing the live racing to Chequers Café and bar\, and of course ice creams on a hot sunny day ! \nFree camping is included with your entry ticket for Friday and Saturday night\, just tick the option when booking. This is a great way for your friends\, family and clubs to get together the night before the event and after the event. Food and drink options will be available. \nFriday night there will be a track walk\, giving you the opportunity to walk all around the famous Oulton Park track. You don’t have to make engine noises as you go\, but it is encouraged. Look out for details on other entertainment we have planned for Friday on social media. \nBMW Car Club GB is proud to be supporting the North West Air Ambulance as our chosen charity for the BMW Live event.
