On Sunday, 14th December 2025, The Motorist once again hosted the Eastern Region members for our annual Christmas Lunch, Awards ceremony, and raffle. The Arnage at The Motorist is the perfect venue for the Christmas lunch event and once again it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great and the food was as tasty as ever.
Our Car of the Year award was announced as Rob Aindow with his 8-series 840ci. Unfortunately, Rob was not able to attend the Christmas lunch event so the award was presented to him at the Great Northern Classics breakfast event on Saturday 20th December.
Robert Nelson was awarded the Member of the Year award. Robert has done so much for the region this last year, sorting out events and running the breakfast meets at Sherburn Aero Club and The Motorist, with a few curve balls thrown in to keep it interesting. Thanks for all your help and support, Robert.
A special MVP award was presented to Paul Rice. Paul was the region chair for many years and has done so much for the region, and continues to help and assist with events and drive outs. Paul, we could not do it without you. Thank you.
